Ann Cox, 93, of Bay St. Louis, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 8, 2015 in Gulfport, MS.
Miss Ann, ""Taunte"" (as her nieces and nephews knew her) was retired after many years in the credit industry and was an avid bridge player. She loved gardening indoors and out and really loved football. If the NFL wasn't in season the Arena League would do! She loved being on, in, and around the waters of the Gulf. She particularly enjoyed the give and take of lively conversation with family and friends. Her religious preference was non-denominational Christian and her political preference (and general attitude) was independent.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Cox and her son Howard Cox, Jr. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Edward W. ""Bill"" Cox and Penelope Cox, of Bay St. Louis, her niece, Margaret Gonzalez of Metairie, LA, and an extended family of grand and great-nieces and nephews in the New Orleans area.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2015 from 2 pm - 5 pm at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a worthy cause or a kind act could be done in her name.
The RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Kiln DeLilse Rd., is serving the family with cremation arrangements and an online guestbook may be signed at www.riemannfamily.com
