Angela “Angie” Lamb Schintzius, 53 of Gulfport, MS passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023.
She was born on August 30, 1970 to the late Andrew Monroe Lamb Sr. & Linda Lantrip Lamb. She is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, James Phillip Lamb.
Angie graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Southern Mississippi. She then went on to get her Master of Education from William Carey University along with a Specialist in Education from William Carey University.
Mrs. Angie as everyone knew her by at Harrison Central Elementary School where she worked for Harrison County Schools for her entire 29 year 6 month career. Mrs. Angie taught between Kindergarten and 1st Grade but spent the last 10 years in 1st Grade.
Angie loved her numerous games on her phone, and the competition of “High Score” with her husband. She also enjoyed traveling for band and color guard competition for her daughter and Harrison Central High School.
Angie is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Chuck Schintzius; daughter, Caitlyn Danielle Schintzius; and brother, Andrew (Saunya) Lamb Jr. Angie also leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of friends, teachers & faculty, and extended family.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at the Riemann Family Funeral Home- Gulfport Chapel (11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport).
Angie would always say, “I Love You to the Moon, the Stars, and Beyond”. We hope you all find comfort in knowing that her legacy lives on in all of us.
A celebration of life will be held from 12:00~3:00PM, Saturday, January 6, 2023, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road,Gulfport.
