Andrew ""Andy"" Dauro, age 76, of Long Beach, went to Heaven on September 30, 2011.
Mr. Dauro was born to the late Vincent T. and Sadie Dedeaux and was a lifelong resident of Long Beach. He was a 1952 graduate of St. John High School and he met his wife and worked at American Linen and eventually retired from Keesler AFB as the housing manager. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, St. Vincent de Paul Council of the Knights of Columbus, and he enjoyed working in his yard, playing golf, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Dauro and his parents.
Survivors include his 6 children, Sarilyn R. (Kevin) Freeman, Karen R. ""Kay"" Dauro, Andrew David (Tina) Dauro, Paul G. (Susan) Dauro, G. Keith Dauro, and Richard A. Dauro, 1 brother, Bert Dauro, 6 grandchildren, Chris Graham, Jean Marie (Jared) Johnson, Jennifer Dauro, Annette (Colt) Brown, Aaron (Katie) Dauro, Khairi (Chris) Colbert, and 10 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am Tuesday at St. Thomas Catholic Church where friends may visit from 10 - 11 am. Interment will be in Long Beach City Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to St. Thomas Catholic Church or Knights of Columbus Council 4898, 720 E Beach Blvd, Long Beach, MS 39560.
