Andrew Clarke, Jr.

Andrew Loyd “Drew” Clarke, Jr., age 36, of Gulfport, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022, from a cardiac event.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James R. Clarke, Sr., Ann Day Clarke, Carolyn Jane McClain, and Kenneth S. McClain.

Drew is survived by his parents, Andrew L. Clarke, Sr., and Julia M. Clarke; his uncle and aunt, Mr. & Mrs. Buddy Clarke; his aunt, Dean Brantley; his cousin, Harry Clarke; and his loyal canine companion, Jack.

Drew was born Ocean Springs but lived in Long Beach, New Orleans, and Austin. He attended elementary and middle school in Long Beach, Ben Franklin High School in New Orleans, and Austin Community College, in Austin, TX.

Drew enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar, drawing and photography. He never met a stranger and had a giving and caring heart.

To have you as our son was the greatest gift of all. You would have lived forever if our love was all you needed.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00pm, Friday, November 11, 2022, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport.
