Andrew Joseph Arceneaux III

Andrew Joseph Arceneaux, III, age 57, passed away on April 15, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernadette Virgie Arceneaux – Theil and Andrew Joseph Arceneaux, Jr.; sister, Nellie Mae Arceneaux; uncle, Larry Scott; and grandson, Ryder Michael Thomas.

Andrew is survived by his loving partner of 15 years, Tina Watson, of Bay St. Louis; his children, Carrie Arceneaux (Jon Lepine), Andrew Arceneaux IV, Lilian Arceneaux (Sean Peneguy), Brianna Arceneaux (Gregory Thomas, Jr.), Teri Nice (Matthew Nice), and Jason Watson; his godchildren, Chris Tankersley (Monique Tankersley), Jerry Smith Jr. (Jane Smith) and Louis Smith; his grandchildren, Brandon Lepine, Gavin Lepine, Gabriella Lepine, Gregory Thomas III, and Oaklynn Thomas; step-father, Keith Thill; his siblings, Linda Lambert (Bob Lambert), Rose Arceneaux, and Cliff Broussard; his niece, Jenny Locklin; his nephews, Jonathan Alvarengo (Jordan Alvarengo), Robert Lambert, Johny Broussard, and Brett Broussard; and many cousins, extended family members and good life long friends. 

Born in Marrero, LA, Andrew, also known as "Big Drew," was a lifelong resident of Bay St. Louis. He attended Hancock High School and graduated from the South Carolina Job Corps. Throughout his life, Andrew worked in various trades, including paint and body work, firefighting, emergency medicine, and construction contracting. He was always busy in his shop and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family in his spare time. Andrew was also of Catholic faith.

Andrew was a hardworking family man with a big heart, who loved his family beyond words. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 141 Highway 90, Waveland, MS. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park in Gretna, LA.
