Andra C. Codding

 Andra Castiglia Codding passed away in Gulfport MS on Tuesday, June 6^th, 2023, . A life-long resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Andra was born in Gulfport, MS in 1955 to Pete and Norma Castiglia. Referred to as “Nannie” by her family, she was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt to her many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her sister, Diane Suddeth (Donald), all of Gulfport, MS.

She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Griffin (Bobbie), granddaughters Anna and Adley Griffin, her sister, Carol Willis (Keith), her brother, Mike Castiglia (Karen), her best friend, who was more of a sister, Zelda Johnson, as well as her many nieces and nephews and their kids, who she considered her own.

Andra dedicated her life to her family, especially her granddaughters, who she cherished deeply. Being a mom and a grandmother was her most proud accomplishment. She was the Manager of Sartin’s Discount Drugs for many years and was regarded by her work family and her customers as a loving and compassionate friend.

In addition to spending time with her family, she had several other hobbies. More than anything she loved to cook – and not to just cook, but to feed the ones she loved. She also enjoyed gardening and growing her own herbs.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 12^that Riemann’s Family Funeral Homes at 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS 39503 at 10:00am CST, followed by a service at 11:00am CST.
