Alvin Leslie Lundy

TSgt. Alvin L. Lundy (USAF Retired), 88, passed away on June 10, 2024, on what would’ve been his 69^th wedding anniversary. 

He was born in Mobile, Alabama, and has been a resident of Biloxi since 1972. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather great-grandfather and brother. He loved to travel and carried out most of his bucket list seeing the world. He served 20 years in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Afterwards he worked at Ingalls Shipbuilding for 20 years, until retirement. Mr. Lundy was also a lifetime member of Heron Bay Baptist Church in Coden, Alabama.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Nell C. Foster Lundy; son, Alvin “Buddy” Lundy Jr.; parents, Grover C. Lundy and Mary Gould Lundy; five sisters, and two brothers.

He is survived by his children, Delaine Robertson and husband Ronnie, of Gautier, Fred Lundy and his wife Patti, of Pascagoula, and Dodi Soto and her husband Tommy, of Crestview, FL; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024 at 12:00 PM, with visitation starting at 11:00 AM at Heron Bay Baptist Church, 4365 Heron Bay Loop, Coden, AL. Interment will follow at Dorlon Cemetery in Coden, AL.
