Alton Joseph """"A.J."""" Vincent, 71, of Perkinston, MS, formerly of Port Sulphur, LA, passed away on Saturday April 5, 2008 at the VA hospital in Biloxi, MS.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Port Sulphur, and was retired after more than 35 years of service to Freeport McMoran. He was honorably discharged from the US Army in 1963 and was an expert M-1 marksman.
Mr. Vincent is preceded in death by his parents, Clodore and Olita Dubois Vincent.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Willa Mae Vincent; 3 daughters, Donna Parker of Perkinston, MS; Marlene Pilney and Sabrina Pierre, both of Mandeville, LA; Sons-in-law, Paul Parker, Andy Pilney and Andrew Pierre; Grandchildren, Andrew and Mathew Pilney, and Kaitlyn and Drew Pierre.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday, April 11, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until service at 12:00 noon at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd, Biloxi. Interment will follow at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
