Alma Letort

Alma Bosarge Letort, age 92, of St. Martin, passed away on August 22, 2020.

Mrs. Letort was born in Biloxi and a was lifelong resident of St. Martin. She was a loving wife, mother, and MawMaw. She is deeply loved and will be sadly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Peter Letort; her parents, Davenies and Lillian Seymour Bosarge; son, Barry Letort; granddaughter, Angela Smith; siblings, Davenies Bosarge, Jr., Joseph Bosarge, Alton Bosarge, Hazel Griffin, Stanley Bosarge, and Marie Seymour.

She is survived by her children, Cynthia Jean Kilpatrick (Ronald), Karen Joy Benezue (Edward), and Stanley Letort (Patricia); daughter-in-law, Nancy Letort; sister, Betty Seymour; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held outdoors on Friday, August 28, 2020, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. at Washington Ave. where friends may visit from 8:30 am until 9:30 am. Graveside services will follow at Bosarge Cemetery.
