Alma Herrin Clemens, age 69, resident of Gulfport, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2009, in Gulfport.
She was born in Harrison County to the late Taylor and Lula Herrin. She worked at the The Inn at Aspen in Colorado for many years. Alma loved to play games on her computer, go shopping with her family and friends, and read and play word puzzles. She was of the Baptist faith.
Alma was loved very much and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Alice, sister, Eunice; brothers, Elbert, Everett and Lewy Herrin.
She is survived by her two sons, Bruce (Debbie) Clemens of WI, and Dale (Brenda) Clemens of WI; grandchildren, Rachel Clemens, Kurt Clemens, Evan Clemens, and Amanda Moriarity, all of WI; sisters, Doris (Irley) Oxford, and Noba McLemore, all of Gulfport; brothers, Thomas (Reba) Herrin of Gulfport, William Herrin of Wiggins, and James Herrin of Pensacola, FL.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 23, 2009, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, from 9-10 a.m. Funeral services will follow in the chapel at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
