Allen Joseph Prevost, age 66 of Biloxi, passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021, at his home.
Allen was born in Biloxi, MS on December 30, 1954, to the late Allen John Prevost and Mary Jane Virginia Burkhalter Prevost. He began his career with Specialty Contractors and Associates, Inc. as a young man until he retired at the age of 62. When he was not working, you could find him in the woods hunting, on the water fishing, or hanging out with family and friends. Allen was a hardworking, loyal, honest man. He was the kind of friend you could only hope to have. If you needed help with anything, all you had to do was ask and he was there.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Tammy Prevost; and his nephew, Douglas Kahl.
Allen is survived by his daughters, Bridgett Prevost and Jessica Mason; their mother, Jackie Prevost; his grandchildren, Taylor Wiggins, Kathryn Mason, Alyson Mason, and Caryann Mason; his sisters, Zerelda Barbulescu (Gheorghe), Julie Kahl, and Lisa Thornton (Charles); his nieces, Tiffany Thornton, Nicole Thibodeaux, and Channing Thornton; his nephews, Colton Thornton (Kaity) and Tyler Thornton; his great nieces, Lona Baragar, Emerson Lakes, Addilyn Thornton, and Avery Thornton; his uncle (whom he loved like a brother), Joel Prevost; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends, but three that he considered as family, August Fryou, Pete Bains, and Donovan Ivey.
