Allen Lizana

Vernon "Allen" Lizana, age 81 of Lizana, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Viren and Gertis Lizana; his in-laws, Wallace and Mag Saucier; his brother, Viren "PeeWee" Lizana, Jr.; and his daughter, Jennifer Hinton.

Allen is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Eula Lizana; his two sons, Timmy Lizana "Paula", Scott Lizana (Cheryl); his son-in-law, Larry Hinton; his grandchildren, Nick Hinton (Ashley), Dustin Lizana, Destany Viars (Bryan), Jarren Lizana (Breanna), Chance Lizana, Taylor Hinton (Richard), Brooklyn Lizana, Staeshia Bond (Rickey), and Ronnie Davis; his great grandchildren, Brock Hinton, Mason Lizana, Brycee Lizana, Paisley Walker, Brylee, Blantyn, and Blayton Viars, Andrea, Tannah, and Keely Schley, Kasen Davis, Rayden Bond, Taylor Horner, and Addie Shelby.

The pallbearers will be Nick Hinton, Dustin Lizana, Jarren Lizana, Chance Lizana, Ronnie Davis, Brock Hinton, and Bryan Viars.  The honorary pallbearers are Rayden Bond and Mason Lizana.

He worked for Colonial Bakery for 25 years and retired from Harrison County Road Department.

He enjoyed running dogs, hunting, going to Goat Sales, and riding 4-Wheelers with his grandkids and friends.

Big Al was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He lived a long and happy life and loved his family until the very end.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 17, 2021, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Rd, Pass Christian, with a visitation from 10:00 AM until the service. Interment will follow at Wolf River Cemetery.
