Alison "Alrie" Marie Poillion, age 57, of Long Beach, passed away on March 6, 2022.
Alison Marie Poillion, known by many as Alrie and Ree Ree by a special few, passed away unexpectedly in West Palm Beach on March 6, 2022 while pursuing her bucket list. Alrie is rejoicing in Heaven with her late parents, Mr Al & Ms Marie Poillion and hopefully with a guest appearance by Marylin Monroe. Alrie retired from MGCCC as a Director of Education and quickly began living life to its fullest, not that she waited for retirement to live an extraordinary life; she enjoyed acting in local theatres, gardening, decorating, drawing and creating art of any kind. Alrie found excitement in the ordinary, joy in everyday life and beauty in all things around her. She will be sorely missed by family and friends of every walk of her life. The Coast will shine a little less with her passing and there will be no “in lieu of flowers” for this celebration of life, please bring a bouquet of colorful flowers for her final curtain call.
A visitation will be on Monday, March 21, 2022, from 1 - 2 pm at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 720 E Beach Blvd, Long Beach, MS 39560. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 pm in the church. Interment will be in New DeLisle Cemetery.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, Long Beach, is serving the family.
