Alijah Lee Osborne

Alijah Lee Osborne, age 10, of Pass Christian, passed away on October 28, 2011, in Pass Christian.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Veronica Rodriguez; his great grandmother, Verta Lee Wahl Lambert; great grandfathers, Charles Donald Wahl, Elton Lambert, and Thomas Faye; great grandmothers, Ellender Ladner Faye and Pearl Faye; an uncle, Genie Wahl; a cousin, Wesley Cuevas; and was joined in death by his grandmother, Ellender Clark.
He is survived by his mother, DiDi Wahl of Pass Christian; his father, James Osborne of Gulfport; grandfathers, Ralph Clark, Stanley Wahl, and Alexjandro Rodriguez; a brother, Austin Osborne; two sisters, Alanna Necaise and Adriyanna McKay; two cousins, Brina Wahl and Zaydee Wahl; aunts and uncles, Stanley Wahl, Jr., Donald Wahl, Jestan Wahl, Billy Osborne, Collins Osborne, Glenn Wahl, Donna Cuevas, Dougie Wahl, Ann Bentz, Connie Tootle, and Rhonda Wahl; and his best friends, Jordan Jones, Carter Cuevas, and Landon Dedeaux.
Alijah was a 5th grade student at Delisle Elementary School where he was an honor student and had perfect attendance. He excelled in sports. Alijah was an all-star baseball player who was inducted into the Dixie Youth Hall of Fame; an excellent football player where he played in the Pro Bowl of the Great League; and was a point guard on the basketball team. He was greatly influenced and loved his coaches, Timmy Cuevas, Barry Necaise, Stevie Peterson, Jeremy Niolet, Bo Necaise, William McKay, Richard Davis, and Paul Lemon. He attended First Baptist Church of Delisle.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2011, from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln Delisle Rd., Pass Christian, with a Recitation of the Rosary to be held at 7:00 PM.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home chapel.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2011, at 10:00 AM at Standard Sandhill Cemetery. A second graveside service will be held on Thursday at 11:30 AM at St Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
