Alice Faye Pitts, age 61, of Kiln, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2012.
Mrs. Pitts was born in Jackson, MS. She was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved fishing, cooking, and gardening. She will be remembered most for her love for her family and her sweet, Christian spirit.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Holt; her brother, Thomas Holt, Jr.; and her sister, Anna Busby.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Walter Gerald Pitts, Sr. of Kiln; children, Walter Pitts, Jr. of Kiln, MS and Tammy Pitts of Kiln, MS; sisters, Mary Ann Peterson of Pocahontas, MS, and Carolyn Sue Whitfield of Madison, MS; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2012, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road, from 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 26, 2012, in the funeral home chapel at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
