Alice Mercado

Alice Anita Mercado, age 84, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel D. Jesus Mercado, Sr.; and her son, John Douglas Mercado, Sr.

Survivors include her children, Manuel Mercado, Jr. (wife, Linda Mercado, Robert Mercado (wife, June Mercado), Alice Smith (husband, Louis Smith), Virginia Mema-Mercado, Cynthia Kisamore (partner, Patricia Gable) and Alicia S. Mercado; her brother, Roy Santana; 26 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

She was a native of Hawaii and has lived most of her life in Hawaii and Mississippi.  She was a homemaker. The family would like to thank you for all of your prayers and thoughts during this most difficult time.

She will be laid to rest at Alae Cemetery, Hilo, Hawaii
