Alice Krass

Alice May Wilson Krass, age 72, of Gulfport, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Franklin Wilson; her mother, Lillie Christine Brock Wilson; her brother, Joe Wilson; her sister, Christine Robinson; her former husband of 27 years and father of her children, Thomas Wayne Krass; and her brothers-in-law, Jim Campbell and Leon Going.

Alice is survived by her daughters, Trisha Krass Watts (Bruce) and Tara Krass Davis (Eric); her siblings, Ruth Campbell, Joyce Robinson (Bobby), and Kathy Going; her brother-in-law, Rick Robinson; her grandchildren, Brady Watts, Mason Watts, Scarlett Davis and Emmett Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews that she dearly loved.

She graduated in 1966 from Fairburn High School in GA and then attended cosmetology school in Atlanta. She was a hairdresser on the MS Gulf Coast for over 50 years, working at Headhunters Coiffures and Fusion Hair Salon. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Long Beach, serving as president of the United Methodist Women Circle One. Alice enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, gardening, and activities within the church and women’s group.

The family is eternally grateful to the team at Memorial Hospital Gulfport for the loving care they gave to Alice. A special thanks to family and friends for the overwhelming love, support, and prayers offered during this time. Although our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in our faith that she is at peace.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 18, 2020, from 5 - 7 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach. A memorial service will be at 7 pm in the chapel.
