Alfred Moore, 85, of Gulfport, died Thursday, December 9, 2010, in Gulfport.
Mr. Moore was a veteran of the United States Navy having served in WWII. He was a Stevedore at the Port of Gulfport and a Barge Maintenance Supervisor for Kerr-Magee Drilling Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Barney T. Moore and Wilda Phelps Moore; first wife, Kenith Moore; brother, Robert Moore; daughter, Emily Thompson; grandson, Guy L. Thompson; and great-grandson, Patrick Anthony Lee.
He is survived by his wife Norma Jean Moore of Gulfport; his children, Jim Woodyard and wife Bobby of Long Beach, Scott Moore and wife Charlotte of Saucier, and Diane Falcon and husband Lovie of Pass Christian; his sister Faye Laverne Maxwell of Texas; grandchildren, Donna Heath, Anthony Moore, Amber Watts, Cary Thompson, David Munn, Taylor Munn, and Olivia Munn.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 13, 2010, at 1:00 PM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
