Alfred Frederick

Alfred """"Alf-Alf-A"""" Frederick, Jr. age 75 and a resident of Long Beach, died on Monday, May 31, 2010, in Gulfport.
Mr. Frederick was a native and lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast and was a member of the Catholic faith. He also served in the U.S. Navy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred, Sr. & Lucy Albert Frederick; his wife, Dorothy Allen Frederick; a son, Ron Frederick; a brother, Oscar Joseph Frederick and a great grandchild, Dylan Ross Galarza, and son-in-law, Albert Faulstich.
Mr. Frederick is survived by his daughter, Sherry Frederick of Long Beach; his son, John (Rita) Frederick of Gulfport; his brothers, Winfred (Donnetta) Frederick of Gulfport, Paul Frederick of Georgia, and David (Julie) Frederick of Long Beach; his sisters, Rosemary Cospelich of Saucier, Joyce Anne Ladner of Necaise Crossing, and Ledia Reyer of Long Beach; his grandchildren, Jessica (David) Galarza of Biloxi, Sherman Frederick and James Dudley both of Duluth, MN and Jennifer Brockett; his great granddaughter, Skylar Laine Galarza and many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2010, from 6pm-9pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, June 4, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery in Long Beach. For more information, please call (228)539-9800.
