Aletha Mary Ladner Honaker, age 91, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Vermon Cuevas; second husband, Frank Warren; third husband, Nathan Honaker; parents, Edvon Ladner and Luella Peterson Ladner; brothers, Edvon”Ed” Ladner, Kermit Ladner; sisters, Luvealy Necaise, Laurlice Niolet, Rita Ladner, Dorothy Ladner, Floriane Lizana; and step grandson, Stanton Warren.
Aletha is survived by her son, Vernon Dale Cuevas; stepchildren, Mark Warren (Janet) and Cynthia Borchard; step grandsons, Clark Ladner, John Paul Jewel, Shawn Warren, Myles Warren; step granddaughter, Caitlyn Douglas; sister, Laura Ladner; and numerous step great grandchildren.
She was the former owner of Cuevas Grocery and worked for the Mack Smith Garment Manufacture plant in Gulfport for a number of years. Mrs. Aletha was of the catholic faith and a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church parish.
She loved her family and would do anything for them. She will be dearly missed.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 9, 2022, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Pass Christian at 2:00pm, friends are invited to visit with the family beginning at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in Standard Sandhill Cemetery.
