Alberta A. (Bert) Peters, a native of Biloxi, died Friday, June 8, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank E. Peters, Sr., one brother and one sister. She is survived by her children, Marilou Peters of Kenner, LA; Frank Peters (Marta) of Palm Desert, CA; Roberta Wilson (Paul) of Gonzales, LA; and Robert Peters (Michelle) of Biloxi; 5 grandchildren, Brandon Peters (Lacey), Elizabeth Wilson, Jennifer Wilson, Mark Wilson, and Kathryn Peters, and one great-grandchild, Paityn Peters.
Mrs. Peters was an avid quilter and bridge player, playing for years with the Sunkist Country Club Women.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at 9:00am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Interment will be at Biloxi National Cemetery at 11:00am.
In keeping with her wishes, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Heart Association or your favorite charity in her name.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road in Biloxi, assisted the family with arrangements.
