Albert Eastin

Albert "Sonney" Charles Eastin, age 89, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018 in Long Beach.
He was dedicated to serving his country by serving in United States Marines for thirty years, where he received various awards and medals. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. Mr. Eastin loved his son with all his heart. He served as past Sr. Vice Commandant in the Marine Corp. League.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Eastin and Pearl Eastin; step-sister, Aletha Hutchens.
He is survived by his son, Denis Eastin of Gulfport; granddaughter, Josie Kirkbirde of Milan, IL; special friends, Gail McKinney, Rita Darnell, and Lee McKeon.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 25. 2018 from 12:00PM until service time at the funeral home. A burial with military honors will follow the service at Biloxi National Cemetery.
