Albert """"Buddy"""" Carter, Jr., age 56 of Long Beach, died on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, in Gulfport.
Buddy was a native and lifelong resident of Long Beach, and was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Long Beach.
Buddy is preceded in death by his father, Albert Carter, Sr.; his wife, Christine McKay Carter and his sister, Jo Anne Lacy Wagner.
He is survived by his loving mother, Marie C. Johnston of Long Beach, his children, Danny Carter of Gulfport and Angela Bates of Wiggins; his sisters, Debra Carter (Dwight, Sr.) Viator of Augusta, GA and Regina (Ken) Hurlbert of Long Beach and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 12, 2010, from 6pm-10pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Wolf River Cemetery. For more information, please call (228)539-9800.
