Albert Monroe Bullock passed away at the age of 79 on March 19, 2014, in Gulfport.
He was born December 17, 1934, in Meridian, MS and was a resident of the Complete Community. His parents were Martin Thompson Bullock and Estelle Semmes Bullock.
He attended Ole Miss University, served in the United States Marine Corps and played professional baseball in the Minor Leagues for Cincinnati. After returning to Gulfport, he was employed by the Gulfport City Athletic Department followed by the Casino Industry until retirement.
He was preceded in death by both parents; his sister, Louise Bullock Pope Findley and brothers, Martin Thompson Bullock Jr. and Thomas Edward Bullock.
He is survived by daughter, Beverly A. Bullock; sons, James A. (Elizabeth) Bullock and Robert M. Bullock; grandchildren, Tanor Bullock, Wesley Bullock and Marina Bullock; great grandson, Isaac Bullock; sister, Mollie T. Bullock May; former wife and mother of his children, Mary Florence (Toni) True Wills.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 28, 2014, at 1 p.m. at St. John Catholic Church in Gulfport. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
