Albert Bond, age 78 of Saucier, died on Friday, January 26, 2007 in Gulfport.
Mr. Bond was a native and lifelong resident of Saucier. He served in the US Army and was a member of Saucier Church of Christ. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Mr. Bond is preceded in death by his parents, Harris Bond, Sr. & Josephine Turan Bond; his sisters, Flora Turan, Ruth Turan, and Lucille Schoniwitz; his brothers, Henry """"Happy"""" Bond and Harris """"Bill"""" Bond, Jr. and his stepmother, Lola Bond.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Margie Bond; his daughter, Alberta (Chris) McMullen; his sons, Wesley (Avis) Bond, Sr. and Russell (Debbie) Bond; his sister, Margaret Shavers all of Saucier; his five grandsons, Wesley Bond, Jr, Sonny """"Joey"""" Bond, Charles Stuart Bond, Phillip Bond and Coty McMullen and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 3:00pm at Saucier Church of Christ, where friends may visit beginning at 1:30pm. Burial will follow at Rouse Cemetery in Saucier.
