Albert Dart Bartlett, born on May 28, 1957, passed away on December 1, 2021. He is a native of New Orleans, LA and a longtime resident of Long Beach, MS.
He is the son of Walter Manny Bartlett and Mary Dart Bartlett. He attended the University of Oregon, where he played football for the Oregon Ducks. He was the author of two books about the New Orleans Saints, Lives of the Saints and A Tale of Two Seasons: Katrina and A Super Bowl, as well as a blog, Souls of the Saints, and was chosen to be included in the Katrina special issue of The Southern Quarterly, called “Daze of Katrina.”
Albert leaves behind three sisters and many nieces, nephews and friends. Private funeral arrangements have been made.
