Al Ladnier

Alfred """"Al"""" Ladnier, 73, of DeLisle, died Friday, October 12, 2007 at his home. Al was born in Biloxi on March 25, 1935 to Ralph and Rae Ladnier. He attended Biloxi schools and Southern Miss. Al was a veteran of the US Army. He retired after 35 years of service with Sears. Most people would remember him as the Sears repairman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Ralph; and his sister, Jeanie. Survivors include his wife, Martha Killegrew Ladnier; son, Eric and his wife, Rachel of Pass Christian; son, Ray of Montgomery, Alabama; granddaughter, Keisha Jackson; and one great-grandson. He also leaves to cherish his memory his loving sister, Cora Green; many nieces, nephews and other loving family, including his cousins who were special to him, Donnie Howell and Bobby Moran. And he wouldn't want to forget his constant companion and protector, Angus.
There is no memorial planned at this time. Al would hope that those who wish to remember him would do so by making a contribution to the Humane Society of South MS or to one's favorite charity.
