Mr. Al Graham, age 81, of Gulfport, departed this world on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at home with his family by his side after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Graham was born in Harrison County to Jeff and Betty Graham. He was a Barber in downtown Gulfport at Triangle Barber Shop since 1956. He started each day eating breakfast with his dear friend, Mr. Day and the staff at Triplett-Day. After his family, his life was dedicated to his work and those he served. Al never met a stranger and had a large diversity of customers from near and far. Those customers remained dear to his heart and he cherished the stories and great times they shared. He had a great sense of humor and always had a joke or two to share.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him, especially by those who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James, Dewey, and Frank; and his sisters, Zelma and Margaret.
Mr. Graham is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Betty; two sons, Chuck (Monica) and their extended family, and Terry (Melissa) and their extended family; grandchildren, Brooke (Jason) Madden, Terie-Ann and Jeffery Graham; one great grandchild, Brasen Madden; and his sisters, Adele (Mickey) Klein, Flora Hodges, and Nicey Roberts.
