Agnes “Aggie” Marie Fox, age 91, and a resident of Diamondhead, Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at 12:30 a.m., at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport.
Aggie was a native of Milltown, New Jersey and has been a long-time resident of Diamondhead, Mississippi. She graduated from New Brunswick High School (New Jersey) in 1949. She loved to sing in the choir and garden in her yard and spending time with her family. In her younger years she loved to dance and was an avid bowler. A member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, she was a member of the choir and of the ladies auxiliary.
Aggie was preceded in death by her husband, William Francis Fox, Sr.; her parents, James Joseph Applegate and Josephine Gruber Applegate; and her siblings, Josephine Kuncewitch, Geraldine Howell, Veronica Miller, Mary Lou Schmitt, James Applegate, and Albert Applegate.
Survivors include her Children, William Fox, Jr. of Diamondhead, Sharon Fox Williams and husband, Charles “Chuck” E Williams, Sr. of Gulfport, and Cynthia Fox Medill and husband, Kevin Medill of Katy, Texas; her grandchildren, Alvin Brown (Kevin), Charles “Charlie” Williams, Jr. (Ashleigh), Kara Williams Benefield (Mitch), Shaun Alexander (Amanda), and Sarah Alexander Pearsall (Bobby); her 12 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Leo Applegate and wife, Eleanor, Arthur Applegate, and Dolores Doktorski and husband, John; and by her sister-in-law, Constance Applegate.
Friends are invited to join the family for visitation and services on Monday, December 19th at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 9062 Kiln Delisle Road, Pass Christian, MS 39571. Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 3:00 p.m. Aggie will be laid to rest at a later date, next to her husband, at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, Mississippi.
