Adelle Graham Klein

Adelle Graham Klein began her life journey Tuesday, June 1, 1915, in Gulfport. As the daughter of Jeff and Betty Graham of Canal Road, the early days of her journey found her working in the fields of the family farm as well as helping in the kitchen to prepare for her 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
On December 16, 1938, she married the love of her life Loyd Earl (Mickey) Klein. Adelle and Mickey resided together on 25th Ave in downtown Gulfport until 1946. At that time they purchased a house and 20 acres of land on a secluded dirt road in rural Harrison County in a neighborhood of only seven other homes, this is now the busy intersection of Dedeaux and Klein Rd. Adelle and Mickey lived the remaining 65 of their 72 year marriage at this location.
In her retirement years, Adelle and Mickey journeyed together to 49 of the 50 states. She reached her final destination Friday, January 14, 2011, as her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ greeted her at Heaven's gate.
Adelle leaves behind, Mickey, her loving husband of 72 years; 2 sisters, Flora Hodges and Nicey Roberts; 3 children, Walter Clarence Stephenson of Carterett County, NC and wife Pat, Betty Josephine (Klein) Johnson of Sunset, TX and husband Jimmy, and Loyd Edward (Eddie) Klein of Gulfport, and wife Nora; 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, 10 nieces and 10 nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 16, 2011, at 2:00 PM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport, with visitation one hour prior to service.
Burial will follow at Pine Ridge Gardens, Gulfport.
