Adele Ruth Hayden

Adele Ruth Hayden, age 80, passed away April 23, 2014 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Hayden, Sr.; her parents, Alphonse and Luvenia Lind; and two sisters, Aline Gilbert and Gracie Allen.
She is survived by her children, John F. (Wendy) Hayden, Jr. of Houston, TX, Thomas Hayden, Katherine (Thomas) Boswell, Janet (Brent) Jenkins, and Arthur Hayden all of Pass Christian, MS; three sisters, Gloria (Ralph) Gilbert of New Freedom, PA, Bernadette (Bill) Jones of Baton Rouge, LA, Vernette (Robert) Rollinson of New Freedom, PA; two brothers, A.J. Lind of Diamondhead, MS, and Mike Lind of Kiln, MS; fourteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hayden was known as Mommy Dell to everyone. She cared for many of the children in Pass Christian for 28 years. She and her husband loved to crab, flounder and spend time at the casino.
The family would like to thank Dr. Blanchard, Dr. Mullins, Dr. Douglas, Sadd Healthcare, and Brittany Todd-Hayden for taking such good care of her in her time of need.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church from 10:00 am until 11:00am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am at the church. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery in Pass Christian.
