Addeline E. DeRemigio Wance, age 79 and a resident of Biloxi, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2007 in Biloxi. She was born in Altoona, PA and was a member of the Catholic faith.
Mrs. Wance is preceded in death by her parents, Michael & Lucy Fasano DeRemigio; two brothers, Ben Rapuano and Louis DeRemigio.
She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Levi L. Wance of Biloxi; her sister, Mary Vigiotti of Altoona, PA and two nieces in Silver Springs, MD.
Mrs. Wance worked at the Altoona Hospital as a nurse anesthetist, before moving to Biloxi in 1971. She then worked a number of years at Howard Memorial, which is now Biloxi Regional Medical Center, as a nurse anesthetist.
She was a member of Mount Carmel Church in Altoona, PA before coming to Biloxi, where she joined Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 11:00am at THE RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road in Biloxi. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Altoona, PA at a later date.
