Ada J. Wolfe, age 97, of Gulfport, passed from this life on October 22, 2011, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Wolfe was born July 12, 1914, in Meridian, MS. Mrs. Wolfe was a faithful, lifetime member of Coalville Methodist Church, where her husband had served as pastor for many years. She dedicated her life to being a good housewife, great mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother.
Mrs. Wolfe was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend James F. Wolfe and son, Joseph F. Wolfe. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara W. Hughes of Baton Rouge, LA, and Mary Frances Robbins (Bobby), Nicholson, MS; her sister, Doris Williams of Meridian; nine grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren; sixteen great-great-grandchildren; and very special friend, Audrey Robinson. She will be missed deeply not only by her family but also by her great many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2011, from 6pm-9pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at 11am at Coalville United Methodist Church, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Coalville Cemetery.
The family wishes to express their sincere and heartfelt thanks to Sheila Wells of Odyssey Healthcare and the staff of the Boyington Nursing Home for their care and kindness shown during her illness and death.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Boyington Nursing Home, 1530 Broad Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39501.
