A. L. Ladner, 72, passed away Monday, March 1, 2015 in Gulfport.
Mr. Ladner was a lifelong resident of the coast and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Viola Ladner; his brother-in-law, Howard L. Sanderson; and his great-nephew, Corey Jeanfreau.
Survivors include his sister, Betty Sanderson; niece, Roberta Holbrook (Scott); nephew, Arthur Sanderson (Kim); great-nieces and great-nephews, Brian Wilson, Jennifer Odom, Caitlin Sanderson, Cassie Sanderson, Bradley Ladner and Allison Sanderson; six great-great-nieces and nephews; and other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 3pm, Friday, March 6 with the Service beginning at 3pm, all at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Gulfport served the family and tributes may be offered at www.riemannfamily.com.
