Willa Talton

Mrs. Willa Redmon Talton went to join her Heavenly Father on Thursday, March 23, 2017.
She was born in Panama City, FL on July 6, 1947, to Hiram Troy and Merle Bernice Redmon. She graduated from Rutherford High School in 1965 and attended Gulf Coast State College and William Carey College. She retired as a Civil Servant from the United States Air Force in 2011 after 40 years of service. She taught Sunday School at Northside Assembly of God for over 21 years.
She is survived by her husband, Leroy Talton, Jr.; two sons, Russell (Julie) Talton of Clayton, NC, and Jeremiah (Tiffany) Talton of Olive Branch, MS; one daughter, Renate (Willard) Woodward of Vancleave; 6 precious grandchildren who were so dear to their "Mirna", Troy Wells, II, Lauren Hathorn, Alex Talton, Aaron Talton, Savannah Talton, Zachariah Talton. She is also survived by four sisters, Faye (Stan) Owens, Dianne Beck, Gayle (Gary) Johnson, Renee Kinard.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd at Washington Avenue, from 5:30-7:30 pm.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at Northside Assembly of God, 14901 Lemoyne Blvd, St. Martin Community, at 11 am, where friends may visit one hour prior.
Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, TN, www.stjude.org
The family would like to give thanks for all the loving prayers and support and to the caring staff at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport.
