Tamara Smith Sykes, age 31, a native and resident of Woolmarket, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014.
Tamara was a homemaker and self-employed entrepreneur and attended Jefferson Davis Community College. She was a member of Coalville United Methodist Church where she was a child care provider. She loved fishing, camping, crocheting, cooking and dancing.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Amber Howe. Survivors include her husband of 7 years Jonathan Eric Sykes of Woolmarket; four beautiful daughters, Madison Avery Smith of Laurinburg, NC, Emily Elise Sykes and Rylee Elizabeth Sykes, both of Woolmarket, and Cammie Layne Sykes of D'Iberville; her father, Avery Dean Hood (Pamela) of Wiggins; her mother, Dawn Tohill (Arthur); her siblings, Dustin Shane Howe, Zach Tohill of New Orleans, Shannon Diane Long (Michael) of Virginia Beach, VA and Melisa Jennifer Myers of Dalzell, SC; her grandparents, Fred & Lovina Hood of Success, MS, Kay Hollis of Oxford and Erin & Charlie Smith of Woolmarket; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
Tamara will be missed and forever loved by all who knew her.
Friends are invited to join the family for a Celebration of Life Service at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, August 21 at Coalville United Methodist Church.
