After college, Dan enlisted in the US Navy as a Dental Technician in 1972 and was honorably on January 9, 1976. After his military career he was a realtor with Mozingo Real Estate. Later, he held numerous job positions before beginning his 28 year career with Harrah’s Casino as a table games dealer where he was commonly known as “Dan the Man.” His bi-annual vacations for 37 years consisted of camping with his family at Flint Creek Water Park. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, wood working, watching football and any MS State sports, especially football and baseball, jeeping, and four wheeling. He was a very caring and giving person who would give you the shirt off his back. His positive attitude, selflessness, compassionate yet stubborn but always loving demeanor is what his family will always cherish. We cannot thank you enough for being the best father, grandfather and friend that anyone could ever ask for. You will be remembered forever and ever. You have no idea how much we love you.
