Kelly Bryan Barkman, age 56, passed away April 13, 2017 at home in Saucier, MS. He was born December 15, 1960, in Jacksonville, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents Addie and Alfred Barkman.
He is survived by his wife Angela Barkman; his four children Brandon, Nikki, Bryan and Jojo Barkman; two brothers Randy(Renee) and Ricky(Dung) Barkman, and sister Debbie(Bobby) House; nephews Scott, Richard, and Ty Barkman and Nick Urbina; nieces Johannah Urbina, Kate Burton, Kristi Shupping, Jessica Minnon, Tiffany Skinner, and Tran Mae Barkman and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
At age 15 he began his life long career as a brick mason. He worked with several companies along the coast and in north Mississippi with the most recent being Jones Construction. He was very proud of his work, and loved what he did.
In Kelly's younger days he was very athletic and enjoyed playing a variety of sports including football, basketball, softball, bowling, and golf. He loved the Saints and LSU and never missed watching a game. Kelly always had a smile on his face and was a great "story" teller. His children are still trying to figure out who the "man with a horse" is that he was always going to see. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday April 18, 2017 at Gulf Coast Church in Long Beach with visitation for family and friends beginning at 9 a.m. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport is serving the family.
