JoAnne Mackay

JoAnne Mackay, age 86 and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA died on Monday, March 17, 2014, in Baton Rouge.
She was a devout Christian and a lover of animals. JoAnne's greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
JoAnne was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Dorothy Thomas Brown; her husband, Don Mackay and her brother, Jerry Brown.
She is survived by her children, David (Martha) Mackay of Birmingham, AL, Richard Mackay of Baton Rouge, Shawn (Marcia) Mackay of Baton Rouge, and Bruce (Catherine) Mackay of Lynn Haven, FL; her grandchildren, Becky Laney, Dori Spaulding, Sarah Mackay, Matthew Mackay, and Andrew Mackay and her great grandchildren, Alex Laney, Sarah Laney, Katie Laney, Oliver Spaulding, and Charlotte Spaulding.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at 2pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery in Gulfport.
