Jeanette Shaw

Mrs. Jeanette Shaw, Sr. 85, passed away July 10, 2020, at her home in Saucier surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Jeanette was born January 1, 1935, in Hancock County, MS, the daughter of the late Ulysees and Bertha Moran Garriga. She enjoyed canning and listening to gospel music. She married Horace Allen Shaw on June 30, 1951, and they were married for 69 years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jeanette was preceded in death by her sister, Mildred Pavolini and five brothers, James, Louis, Lehman, R.D. and Franklin Garriga.

Graveside services for Mrs. Jeanette will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2020, from Carlos-Shaw Cemetery in Perkinston at 2:00 P.M. with Mr. Ray Spears officiating.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Horace Allen Shaw; daughter, Tammy Harriel; two sons, Glendale Shaw and David Shaw and his wife, Mary; Six Grandchildren, Nine Great Grandchildren, and Nine Great-Great Grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Ellen Bennett and Kathleen Stiglet; and by three brothers, Ellis Garriga and his wife, Lottie, Ernest Garriga and his wife, Sandra, and William “Bill” Garriga and his wife, Faye; and by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
