Jared Griffin

Jared Mark Griffin, age 37, of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020 in Gulfport.

Jared loved outdoor activities, fishing, music and spending time with his family and friends. His brother shared, “Jared was my best friend and my brother. He had the biggest heart of anyone I have ever known. He would do anything he could to help others. His daughter, Rainah, was his whole world and he loved her more than words can say.” From his father, “Jared gave his life to Jesus. He had a heart full of love and kindness, joy and always helping others. Jared loved his family and country.”

Jared was preceded in death by his, grandfather, James Griffin. He is survived by his father, Mark Griffin (Audrey); his mother, Mary Luann Schofield (James); his son, Jayden Freeman; his daughter, Rainah Griffin; his sister, Charity Inzer (Billy); his brother, Caleb Griffin; his step-siblings, Haley Martin (Troy), Mallory Barron (Derek) and Joshua Schofield; his grandparents, Louis & Faye Spivey, and Velma Griffin; his nephew and niece, Brady and Brooklyn Inzer; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
