James Sewell

James Sewell, Sr., age 83, of Diamondhead, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022, in Gulfport.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ocie Sewell; siblings, Lonnie Sewell, Donna Sewell, Bobby Sewell, Dusty Sewell; and son-in-law; John Scarpero, III.

James is survived by his wife of 62 years, Shirley Sewell; children, Debbie Scarpero, James Sewell, Jr. (Rhonda), Connie Vaughn (Stacy); siblings, Peggy Payne, William Sewell, Billy Sewell, Jerry Sewell; grandchildren, Oliver Rudesill, Jr., James Rudesill (Sandra), James Sewell, III, Duke Sewell, Amber Vaughn Perry (Joshua), Justin Vaughn (Savanna), Ryan Adrian (Lori Rose) and Stormie Glasschroeder (Colton); great grandchildren, Zoe Rudesill, Oliver Rudesill, III, Skye Rudesill, Cole Rudesill, Paige, Aaron, Bre, Oleigh Maw Rudesill, Samantha Rudesill, Riley Rudesill, Landon Perry, Miles Perry, Davis Vaughn, Kami Jo Dallas Vaughn,  Tinslee Glasschroeder, and Bryson Adrian.

He was a loving husband, father and Paw Paw; and will be greatly missed.
