Irene McCormick

Irene McCormick, age 87, of Gulfport, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020 after a lengthy illness.Mrs. McCormick was born in Dunmore, Pennsylvania to Frank and Mary Evanico Zayac. Irene lived in Gulfport, Mississippi for over 50 years.She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, George David McCormick; her parents; her siblings, Mary Zayac, Ann Zayac, Ted Zayac, Helen Zayac, and George Zayac.She is survived by her children, Jackie Lafontaine (Tony Benardi), Frank McCormick (Vanda), Janet McCormick, Jeff McCormick (Viletta), and Linc McCormick (Nan); 5 grandchildren, Amanda King, Mac McCormick (Mendi), Lori Brooks (David), Michael McCormick, and Haley McCormick (Michael McHugh); 6 great grandchildren, Emma and Sophie Brooks, Palmer and Grant McCormick and Sutton and Jackson McCormick.A private gathering for family will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2020, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Gulfport.
