Emily Colbert Robinson, age 92, Gulfport, passed away, Thursday, November 7, 2019.
She was born in Okolona, MS and graduated from Okolona High School in 1947. After graduation, she attended MSCW, but later transferred to and graduated from Ole Miss as a Dietitian and Home Economist. She worked for United Gas and retired from Biloxi Veterans Administration after 27 years. She was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church of Gulfport, where she attended faithfully and also taught Sunday School. For the last 2 ½ years, she was a resident of Seashore Highlands Assisted Living in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, H.A. "Buck" Robinson; her parents, Joe Lee and Edna (Owens) Colbert; and her brother-in-law, Leaman O. Robinson Sr.
She is survived by her stepchildren, Charlotte Robinson Lacey, Keith A. (Cathy) Robinson; her granddaughter, Samantha (Will, SMSgt Retired) Scrivner; her great grandchildren, SSgt Justin Scrivner, Jordan Scrivner; and her sister-in-law, Manuella R. Robinson.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 11, 2019, at 3:00pm, at Coalville Cemetery. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Gulfport is serving the family.
