Christopher ""Lane"" Ladner, age 9, died on July 12, 2013 at the University of MS Medical Center in Jackson where he was baptized and given his last rites.
Lane's favorite activities were baseball, swimming, boating, and fishing. His favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys. He attended Perkinston Elementary School and Plainview Baptist Church. Lane was a bright, friendly and loving child and will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Beverly Ann Peterson Ladner, great-grandfater, J.E. Ladner, and great-grandparents, Arthur ""Sonny"" and Shirley Triplett.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Khachesta Cuevas Young and Tyrell Young, father and step-mother, Christopher ""Chris"" Ladner and Tabatha Cuevas Ladner, his sisters, Blazelyn Cuevas and Kelsey Ladner, step siblings, Alexis, Aliyah, and Bryson Adam, and Curtis Ray Young, grandparents, Lee Martin and Kelly Ladner Martin, Doris and Mike Cuevas, Paul Ladner, June Norton, and Eddie Young, great-grandparents, Billy Brendal Ladner, Katherine Ladner, Luby Peterson, and Frankie Ladner
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 - 10 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Rd., Pass Christian. The funeral service will be 1 pm Wednesday at Plainview Baptist Church, 2506 Silver Run Rd., Perkinston where friends may visit from 9 am - 1 pm.
Burial will be in Standard Sand Hill Cemetery.
