Charles D. Scarbrough, age 74, passed away on October 28, 2022. He was born in Gulfport, Mississippi and worked as the mechanic for the City of Gulfport for many years (retired in 2010). He was also a 3rd Degree Mason for the Orange Grove Lodge. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Gulfport, and was a fan of the Pastor Paul Begley. For many years he played Santa Clause at the Marshall King Display. He was very loved and will be missed by many people. He will be remembered as a very good father to his son Daniel.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Grady Scarbrough; parents, James W. Scarbrough and Goldie Mae Dobson Scarbrough; brother, Gary Wayne Scarbrough; and sister, Sharon K. Robinson.
He is survived by his son, Daniel Charles Scarbrough; brother, John Earl Scarbrough (Sheila); sister, Hazel Edge, Gertrude Biggs; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gene Mowrey and Debbie Mowrey; and many nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 31, 2022 at 2:30 p.m., with visitation starting at 1:30 p.m. at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Rd. Biloxi, MS. Burial will follow at D’Iberville Memorial Park.
