Bren Rushing

A much-loved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Bren Rushing, 72, of Biloxi, MS, passed away peacefully January 5, 2021.
Bren was exceptional man who always put others first, made a friend of everyone he met and worked extremely hard for his family all his life. He loved cooking, fishing, music, Faith and family.
He is survived by his three daughters: Susan Rushing, Angela Beeson and Kimberly Stevenson; son-in-law, Benjamin Stevenson as well as two grandchildren, Kaylee and Megan Beeson; his sister, Patricia Rushing; nephew, James Bryant and neice, Joanna Ferrer; and a little black cat (Daddy's little buddy) named Mischief.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Veneda D. Rushing; his father, James Kimble Rushing and his mother, Tina Garner Rushing.
His children, Susan, Angela and Kimberly, called their dad a superhero, and even as adults, still see him that way. He was always there for them through their ups and downs, and taught them with his strong faith in God, sage advice, family stories and jokes of all kinds, to enjoy every moment life has to offer.
In lieu of a flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bren's favorite charity, St. Jude's Chrildren's Hospital in his name.
