Benjamin "Frank" Simmons, Jr.

Benjamin “Frank” Franklin Simmons, Jr., 84, of Gulfport, passed away January 20, 2020 in Gulfport.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Wilma Simmons; brothers, GG Simmons and Steele Simmons; sister, Mary Williams; oldest daughter, Tammy; and three nephews.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Carolyn Simmons of Gulfport; his sons, Ben Simmons and his wife, Gina of Houston, Texas, Craig Simmons of Houston, Texas and Kyle Simmons of Gulfport; his step-daughter, Wendi Craig Hill of Brandon, MS; his step-son, Brent Craig and his wife, Tammy of Kentucky; 8 grandchildren, Kara Hill White, Kalyn Hill, Junae Simmons, Rachel Simmons, Nicole Simmons Welch, Christopher Simmons, Teddy Necaise and Shelby Craig; his great-grandchildren, Caleb Simmons, Owen Simmons, Elliott Simmons, Parker Welch, Grayson Welch, Carter White and Adalyn White; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.

Friends are invited to join the family for a time of visitation and gathering on Saturday, January 25th from 11:00 a.m. until the 12 Noon at First Baptist Church, 12190 Highway 605, Gulfport, MS 39503.  The Celebration of Life Memorial Service will begin at 12 Noon.
