Anita St.Germain Hebert of Kiln, MS was peacefully called to her eternal resting place Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving daughters. Mrs. Hebert was born in Jeanerette, LA on March 2, 1932 and moved to Kiln, in 1959. She adored her family and was very proud of all of her children, especially the great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Hebert, or “Honey” as she was affectionately called by her grandchildren, was a very kind and giving spirit that was loved by many. She never met a stranger and had a gift for spreading love wherever she went.
Mrs. Hebert was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Melvin J Hebert Sr. and her cherished only son, Melvin “Bubba” J. Hebert Jr., and great granddaughter Paityn Ladner. Survivors include five daughters: Dr. Deborah Moran (Clyde), Trudy Cuevas (Gary), Cindy Havard (Mitchell), Pat Ladner (Wade), Anne Ladner (Neal). Fourteen grandchildren: Brent Necaise, Haleigh Cuevas, Shawntel Cuevas May, Lisa Curry, Mitch Havard, Chip Moran, Laci' Krick, Taylor Ladner, Lauren Ladner, Jordan Ladner, Camron Ladner, Laydon Ladner, Dillon Ladner, and Nisa Ladner. Seventeen great-grandchildren: Britney, Chance, Destiny, Branson, Grace, Haden, Harper, Kolby, Morgan, Emma, Olivia, Sophie, Claire, Colin, Coltin, Kamren, and Kaden.
