Jace Michael Miller

Jace Michael Miller, born April 1, 2013 to Danielle Sinopoli and William ""Billy"" Miller passed gently into the arms of Jesus on August 22, 2013 at 7:08 am. From birth, the odds were against Jace, low birth weight, Down syndrome, heart surgery at 12 days old and intestinal surgery at three months. His will to live was inspiring to all.
In his brief time on earth, Jace taught many of us the true value of good health, strong family ties, as well as pure goodness and light. He experienced many struggles but also much love from holding hands with his mommy and daddy, and two of the best ""big brothers"" anyone could hope for, along with hugs and kisses and ""I Love You"" an uncountable amount of times. One smile from Jace was worth all the gold in the world.
Now I lay me down to sleep.....how do you say ""goodbye"" to a precious angel baby? All we can do is cherish the wonderful time we had with him and honor his short time with us by always remembering his beautiful smile and his strength to endure all the struggles he faced in his short life.
He is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Ernest E. and Annette T. Jordan, and Charles J. Sinopoli; grandfather, Willard Miller; and aunt, Jillaine Marina Jordan.
Jace is survived by his parents, Billy Miller and Danielle Sinopoli; and his brothers, Atreyu and Elric Upshaw of Gulfport, Joey (Haley) Miller, Sammy Miller, BJ Miller, and JJ Moussa of Toledo, Ohio.
He is also survived by his great grandparents, Marian Sinopoli and Jim Tootle of Biloxi, MS; grandparents, Michael and Karen Sinopoli of Biloxi MS, and Ruth Miller of Toledo, Ohio; uncle, Jeremiah Unkel; aunts, Gale (Claude) Hambrick, Leeann (Bobby) Whitehead, Pam (Tony) Wroblewski, Sandy Miller, Lorie Miller, Linda Miller, all from Toledo, Ohio; and numerous other great aunts, uncles and cousins.
All who had the privilege of meeting this dear child will always remember his beautiful big smiling eyes and his pure innocence.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Gulfport, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held immediately following in the sanctuary.
